Penny Reynolds, MCE, BScN, RN

Penny is a registered nurse with over 30 years of experience in the Alberta health care system. She has held positions in emergency, acute, and continuing care. Her range of expertise includes clinical nursing and education, restorative care, post-acute care and administration.
Penny’s passion lies in the promotion of quality care, positive organizational culture and motivating healthcare providers to grow to their fullest potential.
Penny began her career with CapitalCare in 2005 as care manager of the CHOICE Program at Norwood. She became Administrator for CapitalCare Norwood in 2007. Penny also participates in a number of committees. She is a member of the Alberta Health Services (AHS) Rehabilitation and Restorative Care Committee and co-chaired the committee to implement Restorative Care programs in the Edmonton Zone. Penny is currently leading a proposal to redevelop CapitalCare Norwood in collaboration with AHS, and was a member of the AHS Steering Committee for the 20/30 Master Plan.
Penny was born in Belleville, Ontario and raised in Alberta. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alberta and a Masters in Continuing Education from the University of Calgary.
