CapitalCare's 2023 - 2027 Strategic Plan is designed to meet the evolving needs of the continuing care sector while strengthening the person-centred care at the core of our work.

Message from the Chief Operating Officer, Aileen Wong:

I am thrilled to present to you our new Strategic Plan. This is a transformational plan that will ensure our organization is ready to meet the needs of the continuing care sector. Our sector is changing and evolving all the time. What doesn't change is our commitment to creating person-centred care focused on the unique needs of our residents, patients, and families.

This plan is a roadmap that will guide us for the future. It outlines our priorities and initiatives with a focus on enhancing quality person-centered care.

To develop a plan that would carry us forward we took the time as an organization to evaluate the needs of our sector and how we, as leaders in person-centred care, can ensure our work empowers people to live healthy and more independent lives.

The three challenge areas we identified ensure we are working to improve quality of life, by enhancing person centered care, providing the right care in the right place and the right time, and empowering our staff with the skills, education and tools they need to provide quality care. This plan commits to building on innovative approaches and integrating technology.

We are committed to working together with residents, families, partners, and our staff, to pursue quality, person-centred care. We will provide regular updates on the integration of this plan, stories of success, and the areas of enhancement
