Our Leadership

CapitalCare is a public organization lead by a team of senior leaders. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alberta Health Services (AHS), we report to an advisory committee appointed by AHS, and work in partnership with Alberta Health – Continuing Care to ensure people living in the Edmonton Zone have access to high quality continuing care.

CapitalCare Advisory Committee
The role of the CapitalCare Advisory Committee (CCAC) is to receive information and make recommendations regarding AHS oversight and guidance of CapitalCare. The CCAC will provide vision, leadership and direction to support the operation of CapitalCare including, but limited to:

• Strategic planning
• Financial oversight
• Quality and risk management

Members include representatives from AHS Senior Leadership, patient care, corporate and the designated officer:

• Isabel Henderson, AHS Executive Director, Special Projects, Vice President, Clinical Operations Services
• Eleanor Risling, Executive Director, Continuing Care- Edmonton Zone
• Bill Bright, AHS Executive Director, Finance

Management attendees include representatives from CapitalCare Senior Leadership:

• Aileen Wong, Chief Operating Officer
• Ana Remesovscaia, Director, Finance
