Congratulations to the 2025 recipients of CapitalCare’s Post Secondary Education Funding (PSEF) program!
Thanks to the CapitalCare Foundation’s generous support, over $19,000 was dispersed to employees who applied in the spring. The PSEF program rewarded applicants from numerous campuses and who represent the full range of staff at CapitalCare including Maintenance Technicians, Recreation Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, HR Managers, HCAs and Nursing Attendants.
Recipients received funding to further their education in a wide range of coursework. Staff received support to complete their Power Engineering diploma, achieve certifications for specialized therapies like Advanced Vestibular rehab, become a certified Leadership Coach, or to complete a Master of Education in Health Sciences or a PhD in Health Services and Policy Research.
As a leader in continuing care, CapitalCare is proud to support the commitment of staff who continue to Grow and Learn as they work to provide high-quality care for CapitalCare residents. The PSEF program helps CapitalCare achieve the Healthy Organization objectives of the Strategic Plan by continuously improving skills to meet the complex needs of CapitalCare residents, along with helping staff grow through education and training.
