BIOGRAPHY

Lorene (Lori) White   RN, GNC(C)

Lori is a registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience in the Alberta health care system. Throughout her career she has focused on supporting senior’s health in a variety of settings, including homecare and long-term care. She is a passionate advocate for providing choice, supporting independence and achieving the best quality of life possible for people who need continuing care.

Before joining CapitalCare, Lori held nursing management positions with the former Edmonton Nursing Services and ParaMed Home Health Care (a division of Extendicare Canada Inc). During that time, she was also president of the former Home Care and Support Association of Alberta (now a part of the Alberta Continuing Care Association).

Lori began her career with CapitalCare in 2003 as a care manager at CapitalCare Grandview. In 2009 she moved to Corporate Services as the executive associate, then director of Quality and Corporate Administration in 2011. In June of 2014 she returned to CapitalCare Grandview in the capacity of administrator.

Lori is born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She completed her nursing training at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and maintains a certification in gerontological nursing from the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA).
