Francine Drisner, MHS, BScOT

Francine Drisner is a senior health care executive with more than 30 years of experience in the Alberta health-care system.

Francine has been a health-care leader in a variety of settings including acute care, rehabilitation and long-term care. Throughout her career she has focused on many facets of health care and is most passionate about how to support clients and residents to achieve the best quality of life possible.

Francine also participates in various regional and national committees. She is a member of the Seniors Quality Leap Initiative (SQLI), a collaboration of North America’s leading nursing home care providers to share performance data and the results of specific initiatives in an effort to drive improved quality of care and safety of seniors. She is also a member of the Alberta Continuing Care Quality Indicator Working Group (CC-QIWG) which is selecting quality indicators for the continuing care sector that will be reported to the public.

Francine began her career with CapitalCare in 1998 as manager of community programs. She became the administrator of CapitalCare Dickinsfield in 2006, and administrator of CapitalCare Lynnwood in 2011. On June 3, 2016 she became Chief Operating Officer for CapitalCare.

Francine is born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She has a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta and a Masters in Health Studies from Athabasca University.
